The article discusses a number of our adaptive reuse projects around the bay area. Part of our process in these projects is to allow the existing architecture to become a collaborator, where we preserve as much of the original quality as possible. We the turn to our principles of 'foregrounding adaptability', where we respond to the given conditions, but seek to make the process apparent in the final result.
