Truck Stop / Zero Streets
The Zero Streets project is a conceptual / theoretical project that is exploring concepts outside conventional sustainability. The underlying ideology is for a project that can adapt to the physical constraints of any site that lies along a freeway, hence transforming underutilized, often contaminated or polluted sites. These sites would be analyzed for the best possible uses, and contamination analysis would be one of the components of analysis (See GIS mapped UV, sound, and pollution measurements included in the submittal). Of course the fantastical nature of the project is primarily intended as provocation for consideration of the implementation of such ideology on a smaller, more practical scale.
